My boring week

Hellloooo all you people.

So I'm gonna try to do better at telling you what I do every week but no promises there. Anyways.
This week we working with our investigators to reach their baptismal dates on the 10th of June.  First, we have Efraìn and then we have Angel.

You already know them, but I`ll tell you more about them:  Efraìn has a son on the mission. He was going to get baptized a long time ago, but his wife discouraged him from doing it because they weren`t married and didn`t want to spend the money to do it. BUT. We are getting them married and baptized on the 10th. They are awesome and I feel super blessed to be working with them.

Angel is 14 years old. Everyone in his family are members, but they're all less active, or better said inactive. We`re fighting the mom to be able to get him baptized. He wants to. But the only problem is his family. He is a really good kid and has changed a lot since my time here in Cusco.  Those are two of our investigators. But we have more! Haha.

Basically, it's just been a really slow week, there isn`t a lot happening. We had our leadership conference on Tuesday, and that was an all day long thing. Wednesday we worked and I can hardly remember anything. Except for having interviews with mission president. That’s always good.
I'm trying to think of a story. I can`t remember anything. The coolest thing that happened this week was that one the members here is making her nieces and nephews listen to our lessons. It's fun to teach kids because they are so captivated by everything you say. Especially when you talk to them in English.

Also as a side note. I got held by a drunk man this week.

YOU'RE WONDERFUL. KEEP IT REAL FOLKS.
Sorry, this letter sucks.  I`ll do better next week. I promise.

Happy Mom's Day MOM

Week 44 (May 15, 2017)

Well this week was cool, talked to my family again. It was soo good to see them and talk to them. Already done with 2 skypes. Wow. Also I hit my 10 month mark on Friday!

Soooo.. this week has been kinda crazy! Kinda!
On Monday we went to McDonalds. And it was super expensive but super worth it.

Tuesday we had divisions with one of our District leaders named Elder Quevedo. He has a lot of time in the mission but it is his first time as a district leader. So I gave him a little bit of training and we worked hard!  Not a ton really actually happened this week so there isn`t  a ton to say! But I will be honest and say that this was a really tough week.

We had a cool Family Home Evening our convert Pierina, we watched the video about Chris Williams how he forgave the teenager who killed his family in a car accident. It was a cool moment, Pierina is a very good person. She is not someone so subject to change that she`ll do it when we ask her too. But she has changed a lot and its been really cool to watch. But we`ve trying to get her to accept that she needs to be more like Christ and live like him. So we talked about his Atonement and how he can help us change! Its what the atonement does! It not only cleanses us, but it changes us, and covers who we have been. So we`ll see how she does!

(bad picture, quality times)

And I talked to my family. Love them so much. We were talking a little bit about how God changes those who let him. On my mission I think that I`ve changed a lot. Its hard to see so many things and miracles and not change. But it wouldn`t have been possible I hadn`t let him change me. You need to wake up every day, and ask yourself, “How do I wanna get better today?”  And then you do it! Well you try to do it.

I love this gospel so much! Its not just an idea or something I learned in seminary anymore, but its real! Christ lives! He loves you! And he wants you to live with him again someday. Just trust him.
